John Wesley is once more on the road and travelling the country.
Two dramatic events are available to churches, schools and colleges.

An Evening with John Wesley

With Mark Topping as John Wesley

You will be entertained with gripping tales from 50 years of field preaching and challenged with a message which is as relevant now as it was in Wesley's day.

In this inspiring, dramatic presentation John Wesley shares something of his life: his childhood, his search for faith, his field preaching, the mob violence, his horseback adventures, his lifelong, single-minded drive to "advance the kingdom of Christ."

The evening features Wesley's outspoken opposition to the slave trade.

John Wesley on the Road
These compelling insights into the faith and lives of John and Charles Wesley draw on a wealth of material from journals, letters, sermons and other writings.

Both evenings, the fruit of extensive research, are compiled and performed by Mark Topping who, during eight years as curator at Wesley's New Room and Charles Wesley's House in Bristol, gave hundreds of dramatic presentations to thousands of visitors.

The evenings are designed, not simply as 'good entertainment' but as opportunities for enriching church life by challenging us to take a fresh look at the gospel and to reflect on our own 'call to discipleship'.

The events are normally in two halves of about 40 minutes each, with an interval, but can be adapted to suit local needs. 'Mornings' and 'afternoons' with John Wesley can be arranged - any time from 5am.
